Terms of service
45-Second Explainer Video Production Service – Terms and Conditions LiveUP Media – Video Production Company London Kemp House, 152–160 City Road, London EC1V 2NX www.liveupmedia.co.uk
Effective date: March 2026
By purchasing this service you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
1. Our Service
We are a small London-based team of 2–3 experienced video editors specialising in custom 2D + 3D animated explainer videos for technology and manufacturing companies. We operate in good faith and provide a high-quality, hands-off video production service.
2. Style & Expectations – “What You See Is What You Get”
The examples, case studies and work shown on our product page and portfolio represent the exact style, quality, tone and creative flavour you will receive. This is our unique blend of 2D/3D motion graphics and text-led storytelling. We are not a Hollywood production studio and do not create work in completely different genres or styles. If you are looking for advanced cinematic 3D modelling, live-action filming or high-end VFX, this service is not suitable.
Our 3D elements are used sparingly and at our creative discretion to enhance the story. We do not provide full 3D modelling services from scratch. You must supply any 3D models/files if required. We work with the assets and materials we can responsibly source or that you provide.
3. Process & Timeline
- The project begins with a short discovery/kick-off call and receipt of all your branding assets (logos, guidelines, images, videos, 3D files, etc.).
- We then produce the first draft.
- Timeline: 10 business days from receipt of assets and completion of the discovery call (subject to current studio workload). We will always communicate any changes to the schedule.
- This is a hands-off service designed for busy founders and leadership teams. We do not accommodate micro-management, frequent meetings or rushed deadlines.
4. Revisions
Two rounds of revisions are included. Additional revisions are charged at £85 per hour (billed in 15-minute increments). Most clients are happy with the first or second draft. Revisions must stay within the original scope discussed in the discovery call. Major new ideas or out-of-scope changes may require additional fees.
You must provide all feedback within 4 weeks of receiving the first draft. After 4 weeks the project will be archived and we reserve the right not to complete further revisions.
5. Payment, Refunds & Cancellation
- Payment is required in full at checkout.
- No refunds once work has commenced.
- The only exception is if, after purchase and before the discovery call, we are unable to accommodate your project due to studio scheduling. In that case we will offer a full refund.
- Any additional work (extra revisions, branding updates after delivery, etc.) is invoiced at £85/hour and payable net 30 days.
6. Deliverables & Rights
- You receive full commercial usage rights to the final video for lifetime use.
- We will supply the video in HD MP4 plus one additional aspect ratio (e.g. 4:5 or 9:16 for social media) at no extra cost.
- The video is delivered without voiceover unless you selected the voiceover add-on at checkout.
7. Portfolio & Showcase Rights
We reserve the right to showcase the finished video on our website, reels, social media, product pages and marketing materials unless you explicitly state in writing before the discovery call that the project must remain completely private (“This is a private project – please do not share or showcase it”). If no such request is made in writing, we may promote the work freely and will not remove it from our portfolio later.
If you abandon the project we still reserve the right to use the work in our marketing.
8. Scope Limitations
- This is an editing and animation service only – no live-action filming is included.
- We use client-supplied assets only. You are responsible for providing all logos, branding, images, videos and 3D files at the start of the project.
- We cannot restart or significantly rework the video if your product or messaging changes midway through production. Minor additions (e.g. an end card for a new feature) may be accommodated at our discretion.
- We source music, stock footage and sound effects from licensed sources and do our best to ensure they are properly cleared. We are not liable for any copyright issues that may arise.
9. Liability
We are not liable for any direct or indirect loss, damage, or reputational issues arising from the use of the video or our service. We provide the service with reasonable care and skill but cannot guarantee specific business outcomes.
10. General
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time (changes will not affect projects already in progress).
